Regulatory Reform Order (RRO)- Risk assessment Communiqué
In England and Wales, 1st October 2006 saw the introduction of the Regulatory Reform Order (RRO) which repealed the Fire Precautions Act and replaced it with the need for the ‘responsible person’ to carry out, or have carried out, an ongoing Fire Risk Assessments of the premises for which he/she is responsible.
The following Risk Assessment Communiqués have been put together to offer support for the ‘responsible persons’ when conducting a Fire Risk Assessment.
The information in these Communiqués is based in the current knowledge and collective experience of the Associations membership. Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the guidance given, the Association cannot accept any liability for loss or damage arising from the use of this information.
