Sealmaster was founded in the early 1960's as a manufacturer of draught and weather seals using aluminium sections and elastomeric rubber inserts. The range diversified into acoustic seals a few years later and in the 1970's a range of intumescent fire and smoke seals were introduced. In 1999 Sealmaster was very proud to have 4 of its fire seal products selected as Millennium Products.
As a founder member of IFSA, Sealmaster has been active in supporting the objective of the association for each of the 30 years of IFSA's life so far.
Sealmaster continues to be a major prime manufacturer of intumescent seals as part of its range of activities. Its products have been and continue to be specified by leading architectural practices and are incorporated into many prestigious building projects such as the Tower of London, Stormont Castle and the British Antarctic Survey. Sealmaster product manufacture is supported by comprehensive technical service, RIBA approved CPD seminars, NbS plus membership and third party certification for many of its products.
